Why we have guidelines
Every place on Fidelect keeps its own clients, its own programme and its own messages. People trust it because points are earned honestly, offers only go to people who asked for them, and details stay with the place they were shared with.
These guidelines apply to everyone who uses Fidelect, alongside our terms of use.
For everyone
- Be respectful in messages, with places, their teams and their clients.
- Use your own account, and keep your sign-in details to yourself.
- Earn points, rewards and invitations honestly: no made-up visits, no inviting yourself, no selling rewards.
- Don't try to see or change anyone else's details or records.
- Don't send anything unlawful, hateful, deceptive or harmful.
For businesses
- Send news and offers only to clients who said yes to them, and respect their choice when they change their mind. Fidelect checks this for you.
- Keep your prices, rewards and rules clear, and honour the rewards your clients have earned.
- Record payments as they happened. Fix mistakes with a correction, which keeps the original on record.
- Keep only the client details you need, and give each person on your team only the access their job requires.
- Clinics stay administrative: no clinical notes or records in Fidelect, and no points or offers for patients.
For drivers
- Hand over each delivery and the cash you collect as recorded.
- Go online only when you're working; while you're online, your location is shared with the restaurant and the guest.
- Treat guests' addresses and phone numbers as theirs: use them for the delivery only.
When something goes wrong
If you see something that breaks these guidelines, tell us. We look into every report.
We may limit or suspend an account or a business that breaks these guidelines. Businesses keep their own records, and you can always delete your account.
